Healing Thought of the Week: Somebody Moves the Ends

Just when you think you’re getting somewhere in recovery; just the time you think you’ve really, this time, moved so far forward – you can slip far back. Ever had this experience? I thought so!

The truth is, we all do that. It’s a normal part of recovery. Actually, it’s a normal part of many types of recovery, even economic.

Herbert Hoover said,

About the time we can make the ends meet, somebody moves the ends.

If a whole country can experience this, doesn’t it make sense that you might, too? And as a country does, you too, must continue reassessing, creating and trying new things so that you continue to make the ends meet again and again until they finally stick.

You have enormous healing potential. The goal is learning to access it.

Dig deep. You can do this. I believe in you!
