PTSD Awareness Month: How Do You Describe PTSD? (Contest)

If you’re living with PTSD or know someone who is you have insight into what posttraumatic stress disorder really is. It isn’t just a label or a diagnosis, it’s a lifestyle that affects us down to our very core.

In honor of National PTSD Awareness Day on Thursday, June 27th, we’re running a contest:

Describe PTSD in 6 words or less.

You can write anything. An example would be: Living my fear; losing my mind.

We’ll announce the winner at 5pm EST on Thursday, to close out the day of national awareness.
