I bet there are things you know you need to do, attempt or accomplish in your PTSD recovery – but you just can’t bring yourself to do or face them yet. Am I right? Yeah, I know that feeling. I spent a very long time pretending I didn’t know what I needed to face. That didn’t get me far along the route to recovery.
The only joy in the world is to begin.
Okay, so I don’t entirely agree with that blanket statement, but I do believe there is a certain joy in beginning. You know why? Because when you take a step to begin anything (including PTSD healing) you take control, and that is a very joyful feeling indeed.
You have enormous healing potential. The goal is learning to access it.
Dig deep. You can do this. I believe in you!
