PTSD Healing Thought of the Week: The mind determines what is possible. The soul surpasses it.

Yesterday I wrote about the influence of others’ beliefs on your recovery. In case you started to think about how long that’s been happening (which you should so that you can correct it!) here’s another tidbit that I deeply believe:Pilar Coolinta, PTSD, Healing Thought of the Week

The mind determines what is possible. The soul surpasses it. (Pilar Coolinta)

I, like you, felt deep within me the urge to heal, the urge to be free, the urge to live without symptoms of PTSD. Even when my mind shuddered to a stop and declared recovery couldn’t be done, something in my soul whispered, nudged and demanded that I carry on.

I bet if you listen you can hear that deep voice speaking to you. As a matter of fact, I bet you know it’s the reason you’re reading this right now….

You have enormous healing potential. The goal is learning to access it.

Dig deep. You can do this. I believe in you!

You have enormous healing potential. The goal is learning to access it.

It is possible to conquer the past and create the future – the first step is choosing to take the journey.
