Using Imagination to Get UNstuck in PTSD Recovery

Using Imagination in PTSD RecoveryFeeling “stuck” is another word for feeling “limited” – it feels like limitations have been placed on your prosperity, on your options, on your happiness, even on your dreams. Which – as anyone who has been stuck will tell you – is a pretty frustrating feeling.

But did you know that your only real limitation lies in the negative use of your imagination?

The power of your mind really is incredible. You’ve probably heard that most human beings only use 10% of their brains. And the problem with all that untapped brain power isn’t just the great things it could bring you if you put it to work. It’s also the nasty things your brain can do if you leave it to its own devices.

If there is failure and lack in your life, it may very well be there because you first imagined it in your mind. That’s the negative power of your mind at work.

The good news is, when you imagine success, and you continue to repeat this same mental picture over and over again, your brain has no choice but to accept your vision as reality and bring it to pass.

And no – you’re not being hypnotized. Instead, you’re being dehypnotized from the ignorant, superstitious limitations of stuck thinking.

If you are hoping for greater good, begin to form the mental image of that good in your mind. Your reasoning power may tell you that it can never be, but that doesn’t matter. If you just dare to continue imagining it anyway, your brain will produce the result you have been imagining!

Whatever the mind is taught to expect, it will build, produce, and bring forth for you. Instead of focusing on poverty, failure and financial lack, which only multiply your problems, instead quietly, deliberately and persistently focus on the good things that you want.

And see how the power of your mind can work for you.

The good things I want for myself are (let your imagination run wild!):
