Darren Bean, Sergeant Major, USA (Ret), President, Warrior Thunder Foundation, sent me a note about a terrific event coming up in June to benefit veterans. Sharing Bean’s note with you today because in addition to T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods the event needs more sponsors.
Please share if you know any company who might like to be involved!
We are looking for sponsors for this year’s tournament. Due to last year’s overwhelming success, and feedback from our sponsors and attendees, we have created some new sponsorship levels; more opportunities you to support this great cause and our men and women who have served this Nation faithfully.
Because of great sponsors, our event was a giant success and our foundation was able to do some great things. Amongst other things:
• we were able to buy a working dog, pay for his room, board and professional training for a local Veteran struggling with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury and a leg injury. This dog, appropriately named Freedom, will help this young man in his day to day activities. • we were able to work with another local 501(c)(3) to establish a Healing with Horses program for Veterans with PTSD. Then, we bought them a horse that is an integral part of this program. The horse, Rio, has already had a major effect on the lives of local Veterans.
Sponsorships start as low as $150. Sponsorship levels can be found at at http://bit.ly/1wvRVQu Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, ideas or want to do something unique. Thanks for your support.
