If klonopin is effective at diminishing the anxiety symptoms you might ask your physician for specific medications to help induce sleep such as the hypnotics Lunesta, Rozerem, or Ambien. Depending on the doasage of the klonopin, these may offer sufficient relaxation to allow rest. Also, Silenor or low dose doxepin hydrochloride may work as well. You may want to change the anxiolytic to an SSRI or SNRI for anxiety reduction and then use one of the hypnotics.
